| The rear
suspension installation begins by verifying the chassis
centerline with the string that runs down the center of
the jig. This ensures that the rearend is perfectly
centered in the chassis. The shock brackets are held in
place by jigs on the chassis jig to exactly locate them on
the housing. |

|
 |
| Once the
housing is properly positioned in the chassis, we are
ready to install the Pete and Jakes triangulated ladder
bars. |
|
|
 |
| Michael is
shown here getting the exact placement for the ladder
bars. The placement of the ladder bars is critical to
ensure that they don't come in contact with any other
suspension or frame components during up and down travel.
Care must also be taken to make sure the pinion angle is
correct before welding. |

 |
| The Pete and
Jakes ladder bars are now installed in the chassis. |

| How's this
for a unique rear spring? Shades of the past with this
Posies cross mounted leaf spring setup. |
|
|
 |
| Once the
brackets are located on the housing, John TIG welds the
brackets and remounts the spring to the housing. |
